Privacy Policy

Fast Internet Browser · Effective date: July 30, 2026

Fast Internet Browser is a web browser app for headsets running Meta Horizon OS, provided by MIADA ("we", "us"). The short version of this policy: the app itself collects no personal data. Everything you do in the browser stays on your device.

Data stored on your device

Like any web browser, the app keeps the following data locally on your device so that it can function:

None of this data is transmitted to us. We operate no servers that receive usage data, we use no analytics or tracking SDKs, the app shows no ads, and there are no user accounts.

Data that leaves your device when you browse

A browser's job is to connect to the websites you open. When you visit a website, that website (and services it embeds) receives your requests and may collect data under its own privacy policy. The same applies to search: when you search from the address bar, your query is sent to the search engine you selected in the settings (Google by default; optionally DuckDuckGo, Bing or Ecosia), subject to that provider's privacy policy.

The Android System WebView, which renders all web content, may additionally perform Safe Browsing checks to warn you about dangerous sites, and may use the device's DRM component (Widevine) when a website plays protected video. Both are system components of your device, not services operated by us.

Content blocker

The built-in blocker for advertising and tracking requests works entirely on your device using bundled filter lists (EasyList/EasyPrivacy). No browsing data is sent anywhere for filtering.

Permissions

The app requests only two Android permissions: INTERNET (to load websites) and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE (to detect whether a network connection is available). It requests no location, camera, microphone or telephony permissions. Website requests for your location are automatically declined.

Deleting your data

You can remove your browsing data at any time via Settings → Clear browsing data (history, cookies and site data, cache). Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored app data; files you downloaded to the device's shared Downloads folder remain until you delete them yourself.

Children

Fast Internet Browser is a general-purpose web browser with unrestricted access to the internet. It is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version at this address with a new effective date. Since the app collects no data, changes are expected to be rare.
